Sorry about the big pics, broaband spoils me :o

I was using a buffer that I got cheap when I worked @ Advance Auto Parts. I found it harder to remove using that then by hand, so 1-5, 5 being the most difficult...Id give it a 3 or so because I was already tired when I got to that step. S100 comes off very easy though

Asloudasitgets- Actually the tires arent much louder at all, the dry traction is phenonminal. It just stopped raining here and isnt supposed again untill satuday or so (TX weather >*) so untill then Ill only have a report on 70-75 degree sunny weather :o :p

Yeah thats a reflection off the roof or the trunklid of my car ... I forget which one. Was after my annual or semi-annual Zaino run ... Dawn Liquid Detergent + Z7 & Claybar + ZFX + Z5 (for swirls and fine scratches). Think there were maybe 2-3 coats of Z5 on there by the time I was snapping pics.

Im up in Round Rock Actually...you should come out to Van's (183 & ohlen rd I think) saturday night sometime.

DarkDJ- The s100 you can pick up in your local Harley Davidson shop.

LiQice- Lookin good as well, but I refuse to become a 10 step zaino nazi, besides film camera + S100 > Zaino...

NBP what,who?
:o

Ill see if I can get a better close up shot of the reflectivity...damn windy day today has my car dusty already :-/

My car USED to look like that. But ever since the door dings started to come, I kinda gave up trying to make it perfect.

Actually, the claybar and all is just good measure if you want to be anal. I do it to make sure I remove any impurities in the paint from pollution or bug guts each year. For sure you want to do it the first time, but after that you don't have to ... Then Zaino becomes just a 3 step process, wash car + apply Zaino + wipe zaino off ... Same as any other wax.

Love the pics though! S100 def. looks sweet...

I thought Scottwax used Vanilla Moose on that car.

I think it's the combo of the #7 and S100 that gives Acclude's paint the "pop" and "wettness". Good choice !
I'm a Zaino user and use it primarily for the durability and protection. Then top Zaino with S100 or Souveran to help add some depth. Only downside to that is you have to get rid of any carnuba if you want to layer more Zaino.

Why does everyone make claying out to be such a chore ? It only takes me like an hour or so. I'd rather claybar the paint the clean the inside windows.
To each his own, everyone's pics look sweet.

I was claying the Honda Pilot the other day. It took me 4 hours to finish that sucker! My arm was so sore the next day, I had to wait another day to wax it. Another 5 hours of torture!

I'm an absolute fan of claybar, but haven't tried using Zaino products yet. I've heard some people swear by it. Always used Meguires Gold Class wax, but wouldn't mind trying something new if it's proven to give me just as good if not better results.

BTW, we just had another 3 cm (approx 1") dump last night of old man winters nasty stuff. My car's all dirty again.
