Spotted: 02-03 Blue TLS in Jersey

I was driving around today around weehawken/Hoboken area in jersey, and i saw a dark blue TLS. i believe its called the monterey blue?

but yeah, he definitly had coilovers or springs done, since he was riding pretty low, but the rest of the exterior seemed stock.

we were at the red and i gave him a thumbs up, implying nice ride. then he started waving. haha.

my car was the White 99TLP, with the exhaust tips, tints all around, and the smoked taillamps.. i was just wondering if youre part of the board, and if i'll be seeing you again at the NJ meet coming up next weekend!!

The dark blue color depending on year is either Eternal Blue Pearl or Monterey Blue. I believe for MY 2001 or 2002 the TL-P blue color changed to Eternal Blue Pearl (for the USA).

yeah, I think they only make Montery Blue for the TL-P's and Agean Blue Pearl for the Type S. Maybe the car you saw had fake type s badges on.

hmm.. that is weird. i know its not aegean.. so maybe its an Eternal Blue Pearl TL-S? its definitly an 02 or 03. i could tell from the front taillamps, the bigger grill, the 17inch 5-spokes, and the white/red taillamps.

well if he had the 17 inch 5 spokes, it was definately ABP....if it was a 02-03 TLP, it was eternal blue pearl (this is a good poss. as I have a friend who has an 02 TLP in eternal blue, and i think he works up in that area...were his lights cleared? also, he has CLS wheels..) now, finally, if it was an 99-01 with an 02-03 conversion (unlikely lol) it was monterey...ill call my buddy in a few and ask him if it was him

Could be a Canadian spec TL-S which was available in Eternal Blue Pearl too.

Canadians only got ABP in the Limited '03 TL-S A-Spec.
