Spoiler Torsion Springs HELP NOW PLEASE!!
Im installing the torsion springs right now, and encountered a problem. I took it off with the special tool that Im suppose to use, but for now I'm having problems putting the new set of torsion bars back on. Problem is every time I use tool to snap one side back on, the other side snaps out. If ne one has advice that they can give me, please help.

Maybe try to get something or someone to hold down the other side while you try to put one side on. Sorry I have never done it before and I need to do it soon because I installed a spoiler recently. Kinda off topic but where did you get your springs and the tool to change them out? Good luck hope you get em in.

Alright did it, somethign that was suppose to take literally 10-15 mts, took me 2 hrs, cuz Im an ideot. I took the bars off and didn't really observe how they were suppose to be hooked on, and therefore wasted an hour just trying to figure how to put it on. Then, the other problem that resulted in losing time was kind of also due to me not being observative in the first place but I was pulling the spring in the wrong direction so therefore the other side kept snapping out, pretty dumb i know!!
But I figured it out finally, and got it, and the torsion bars made a huge difference, now my trunk opens like it suppose to, and there is that additional resistance, defenitely worth upgrading if you have a spoiler. It was only 40 bux, which I bought with my spoiler from the group buy that I have arranged.
All in all, its an easy install and yes it is dangerous even with the tool. But with proper precaution its an easy thing to do.
Now one more thing, I noticed that there are two settings on the torsion bars, I didnt even attempt to put it on the higher setting with initial torsion bars, do you think if I did that I could've saved 40 bux? xxasnxkidxx you should try that before ordering and see how it is and please report back, cuz I am curious. I mean too late to do ne thign about it now ne wayz.
Second question is, the trunk lid kind of feels wabbly now, with the new torsion bars... ne reason why? I plan on taking it to the dealer and playing dumb but it would be cool to if u guys knew. When I mean wabbly i mean like if you kind shake the lid holding it from one side, the lid wabbles like its flimsy.
Thanx

Okay I'll try to adjust the stock torsion springs to the higher setting to see if that's enough resistance. I need to get ahold of the tool first... NYDesi80 how hard did you screw your spoiler on? Instructions say to not screw it so hard or else it might crack the spoiler or cause stress marks but I don't want the spoiler to be flying off when I'm going 80 mph on the freeway. By opening and closing the trunk lid, will that cause the screws to loosen over time?

Make sure you put one in at a time. When I do them I take the first one out....match it up . install it, then do the second one the same way. You may have mixed them up and therefore they are working against each other rather than together.
