Splash Guards Again (warning: very exciting)

Alright, so I peeked under the splash guards yesterday and while I do see dirt, I can't say I see paint wear. How hard it it to remove these and put them back on if I want to clean underneath? Haven't decided it I want to keep them on or not, and may go with a kit eventually. Just wondering if it's a pain to put them back on...

Thanks!

it's just a few screws to take off and then it slides right out. To put them on you just line up the holes and screw them in. Go with the kit, it makes the car look sooooo much nice, like night and day!

goldendragon576 is correct, just a few screws hold them in. You may want to get a 'stubby' screwdriver or a right angle driver so you don't need to remove the wheels. It will set you back $4 to $10 dollars and is well worth it.

I just removed my mud guards to install a body kit and I have paint damage from the mud guards rubbing on the fenders.

I would remove the mudguards and apply some clear protective film onto the fender where the mud guard rubs if you plan on keeping the mudguards on the car.

If you ever thought about getting a body kit ESP OEM, then remove the Splash Guards ASAP, it's not a question of if they will wear the paint, it when they will wear the paint.

Install it yourself.
You can find the Acura Install instructions here:
http://www.acurainspired.com/forums/...p?showforum=16

The bodykit themself runs from 400-900 depending on color and year.

i checked the hond.com and they dont' seem to have the 02-03 oem body kit anymore. Do they don't have them anymore in stock or did they accidently took the ad off the site?

Whew. I don't know about installing it myself. I've put together furniture and grills, but something about taking the car apart scares me. How much am I looking at for the parts and labor at a dealer?

You're kidding right? Did you look at the detail ACURA install instruction w/ diagrams (some1 didn't write this up, it's real instruction that dealers get) on that link I provided above? It's so detail that a monkey that can read would be able to do it.

OEM kits run from $400-$900 shipped depending on color/yr. Install runs from $100-$200 depending on dealer.
