A spec in person
Went to the dealer today to get some touch up paint, I must say that with all the blue trim, the A spec does NOT look more sporty than the normal type S, but i've got this impression that it made it look "cheaper" or not as classy. The only note worth mentioning is the blue painted headlight housing and the door sills. The interior just does not flow nicely together with that disgusting shift knob and the "dull" silver trim along with the blue inserts. I rather have the wood trim and blacked out interior! Oh, and I forgot to mention that the steering wheel with the blue sides look ridiculous!!

I don't like the 2-tone interior either; the blue inserts just don't blend in. The door sills are nice but I heard Acura Canada has restrictions about selling those A spec parts over the counter.
Anyone has more info on this?

Nobody will be able to get any A-spec parts..To be able to get the parts, you have to have a valid VIN #. Sucks for all us TL'ers that want some of the nice touches like the sills and the spoiler. I dont think honda wants all of the a-spec parts to be put on any TL, so they put this restriction on the sale of any a-spec part. Maybe, hopefully, honda will eventually make the parts for the a-spec available to all.
