Sound Install, Parrot Bluetooth, Engine noise question
Decided to do a Saturday project today.
Installed:
Parrot MKi9200 Bluetooth
Infinity reference 5022i in front (stock bose in back for now)
new speaker wire
1 farad cap
sherwood 100x4 amp (solid dinosaur, they dont make them like that anymore)
Alpine MRP-M500
2 10 Rockford Punch HE's in a sealed box, where the subs face each other.
Kept stock HU
First about the Parrot: Installing it was a bitch. The features are awesome, it integrated into my system very very well. The features are pretty good. It needs a few software updates. Works with the iphone very well. The sound quality is pretty damn good. Steering wheel remote is ok.
Now for my question: I got an aftermarket extension harness, cut the speaker outputs right behind HU, and added 2 2-chanel LOCs. Im getting winding engine noise. The stock EQ is not used at all right now. How do I know if it's a bad ground, or the problem is with the stock EQ still. Can I just unplug the stock EQ? I have got to get rid of the noise. Has anyone been successful with it? I've read a few other threads that suggest a whole lot of stuff, but it was all theory, i'm curious if anyone has solved that problem.
Don't mind the fact that the alpine is just hanging there. it needs a few more screws
I thought that was a pretty good place for the parrot screen, wire could be hidden well.
Shot including steering wheel remote.

Porkchop Sandwiches!
Did you run the power lines close the line out of the head unit? That usually leads to alternator whine. Its best to run them down opposite sides of the car.
