Sound of the engine as the RPM drops after revving...

I was out with some of my car club guys the other night, and for ****s and giggles, we were revving at each other on one of the guys' driveway. We all noticed that as the RPM dropped after revving, my car sounded like it had a BOV. So for comparison purposes, I checked out one of the turbo'ed cars in the club, and yeah, they sound similar. An unsuspecting person would think that my car was turbocharged.

Odd... I wonder what it is. Sounds like the belt, maybe? I'm not sure. Could be the K&N...

No, I don't think that's it.

Either way, I like it. It's not annoying or anything. In fact, I think it sounds cool. I'm not saying I want to sound like I have a turbocharged car, but it sounds pretty cool.

Pure ...

That happens on ALL TypeS's .. it's a known issue .. nothing wrong .. it sounds like a "hiss" as the rpms are coming down .. I have it, everyone i know w/ a TypeS has some variant of it... nothing to be alarmed by.

Yeah, I'm not too worried about it. I was just saying that it sounds cool.
