Sore fist

After reading how some folks here got the dash clock light working again by pounding on the dash I tried it with no luck, figuring the bulb was a goner, No way was I going to strip the dash down to the bare bones just to change an overpriced bulb. I don't drive too much at night anymore but the other night I got pi$$ed off and really put my fist into the dash above the clock and after a number of good bumps lo and behold if the light didn't come on again! Yeehaw! Also got rid of the cabin's dandruff problem by replacing the cabin filters. I did check them last fall and they did not look too bad but obviously lots of crud lurking in the folds. Nice to have this forum to find out what others are doing to fix their problems. JC
