My transmission was rebuilt and it has died again in 40k miles.
Out of warranty of course.

 

I will take that as a big no.
I already have an AV6 tranny to install and was debating on rebuilding the TL tranny for fun. I'll pass on that part and get my core charge back.

 

Love all the damage they did pulling the tranny out.

Woah that shop is terrible at their job. That's just careless damage.

 

You should demand they provide you new solenoids free of charge. There is no excuse for ruining the solenoids on a transmission you just bought. Especially when the AV6 is expensive as is.

 

I'll just switch over the TL ones after I clean them. According to Car Part.com I got the last AV6 tranny in AZ that had under 100k miles.
Wish I had known about how to do the swap the first time my transmission blew. I'll be paying off the rebuild bill from that later this year.
