so my wife told me that today is car is jerk every 30 sec and now it is down to every 15 sec or so. the RPM keep staying at 1000, but from 0-40 the rpm goes up to 2000-3000 then it jerk and goes back down to 1000. and she told me 2 days ago when she put from park to drive the car seems like it doesn't want to move when she step on the gas pedal or it move really really slow. can somebody tell me if that's the sign of the tranny going out??

Please help, any command would be great appreciate.

update: just got a call from the wife, all the light are on and the rpm is going up and down .... so i guess the tranny is gone...

 

Yup, it sounds like the tranny is GONE.
