Someone check the steering wheel
Someone check the steering wheel
Can someone please try this in their TL-S. When i drive with nothing running, no stereo, or A/C and essentially the car is silent inside, and I do a full turn of the steering wheel, I hear like a rubbing noise, as if it's rubbing against the part it's mounted to....
can someone confirm that there's does this too....or doesn't do it, and let me know
thanks
do this test with nothign but the engine running. turn off the air and stereo.

I HAVE THAT TOO!!! I thought it was just me. it's the back part of the steering wheel where it connects to the column. It's the plastic pieces rubbing against each other when the wheel is turned slightly to the left. (the A is facing <-) Is that the same noise you get?
I thought it was just me, I just noticed it like 3 days ago. As I slowly turn you hear the rubbing. When I make my appointment for an oil change I'm taking it in for that and both front seat belts that sqeak.
i had that problem too ... so i took it to the acura and they told me it was some kinda plastic housing around the steering wheel column...so they ordered the small part and replaced it.
still makes that noise once in a while, tho. sounds like two plastic rubbing against each other..
