Hi, im new to the board and i want to know what prices people bought their TL for being Type-S or not? My cousin who lives in CT wants to buy a new car. He has his mind on a 2002 Diamante which is going for 28.5. I dont want him driving those pieces of junk. I told him that the Type-S is going for a few grand more. On the Acura website it says that MSRP is 31.7 but i also read on car forums about how people getting discounts on the cars that they bought. Can you guys tell me what to tell him. THX

 

I don't know how much the TL or TL-S is going for right now but do not buy the Diamante. The Acura is so much better and way more powerful (even the regular TL but especially the type-S). Plus everything comes standard and an option to buy the navi (which I really really recommend). Also, the reliability and resale value of Acura is way better than a Mitsubishi.

BTW, you'll get HIDs also. Once you go HIDs, you won't go back.
