ey guys...i got a 00 TL with the color champaygne....how would it look if i put the type S rims on it....look pretty nice dont you think??i think it looks good...i like the stock one but wanna change it around a bit...

 

honestly i think the champagne sets off more of a old lady toyota camry look. type S wheel is like volks on a camry. but watever u want. get it repainted maybe.

POST the color code from the door jam.
I think your 'champagne' and Heather Mist are different colors.
Heather Mist is more of a Silver in most angles.

I think type S would improve the look

 

just my opinion those color cars look pretty good with a dark tint on the windows, some bigger rims (not too flashy though) ... the type s rims would be nice... a drop and cleared out headlights and 02/03 tailights... imo it brings the car together ... and sort of stays away from the grandma look haha... maybe a spoiler too?

 

Type-S wheels will definetly improve the look of the car. No matter what color it is (I haven't heard of anyone saying in all honesty that they got a TLp 'cause they didn't like the way the Type-S looks with the OEM 17"ers). If you are getting aftermarket wheels, however, I would consider looking for 18"ers with a nice lip over the Type-S wheels. 1¢ (i am cheap today).

 

yeah i put the lip on also..i think it still looks nice too...the lip with the Type S rims...

 

change the color but on the bright side yeah the rims will make any TL look better...so good luck with it

 

basically in my opinion...i like my Type S rims on champagne....plus the lip improves it...i'll see if i can put up pics of it...
