i think if the grills doesn't stick out like that it would be much better. i like the piaa bulbs!!!

and umm...... what's good about the battery?

 

I took the grille back off today, it was a fun experiment but i like it better w/o. Let me put the battery thing in perspective for you. The stock AC Delco batt. is a taurus wagon, the optima is a tl-s. Does that make more sense now?

You get the battery for any reason...or just cause it's an upgrade

You may want to put a terminal cover over the positive terminal of the battery... moisture (or a crumpled hood during an accident) will cause the contacts to spark if they're exposed.

 

Or dropping a wrench on top of the battery. Watch the sparks fly.

 

I dig that grille. It makes the front of the car look 'bulletproof' or something, really mean looking...I like it!

 

That grill is hot. Did anybody get any custom grills for the tl-s yet, if so post pics.

But then that takes all the fun and suspense out of playing with the car's electronics while the battery's in! No chance of electrocution??? That'd be terrible. For added fun, stick in 3-4 1F capacitors...that's a blast!

That grill is bananas i seen it over at the cl site, im making one like that for my 99.

 

Thanks for the replys, i installed the batt. because i already had it laying around along with the connectors. I will be adding amp and sub soon. Maybe i'll come up with some sort of plexiglass cover for the terminals for safety sake.

 

Damn that grill is wild looking.I like the other one better.Is that the stock tl grill?
