morning all...i'm Scooter on Acura-CL.com...i just wanted to announce to u that there will b SOLO events taking place at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, Long Island this Sunday...i'm not sure if anyone posted anything on this here already, but i wanted to give all a heads up...for those who don't know what SOLO is, it's basically a handling course in a parking lot where u test the limits, both your own as well as the car's...it's a timed event, so there's no real racing other people, just the clock...register between 7:30AM and approx 10AM (the earlier, the better)...trophies for top finishers...cost is $25 for everything (helmut, at least 3/4 runs, fun runs with others if there's time)...usually get done at around 4 or so...in addition, i've been trying to organize a meet at SOLO in the next lot over for anyone who's interested...on the CL boards, a few people are showing up, and i was hoping to interest some TL owners and friends to come also...everyone's welcome...i was gonna bring some snacks also, like chips and salsa, Doritoes, etc...finally, if u would like to come out, don't forget to bring digicams, cameras, camcorders hope to c lots of u there...the SOLO people are very anxious to c both the new TL's and CL's!!
