Sold our second-generation TL yesterday…

I bought a 2003 Honda s2000 a few weeks back, and we have neither the need nor the room for three vehicles, we decided to sell the oldest/highest mileage one. The TL had 111k and change. There was a moderate blemish on the front bumper and a very minor one on the rear. The brakes and rotors were just replaced two months ago, and the tires were replaced in Feb. with Yokohama AVID ENVigors. I took the mean value of the major three sites: Edmunds, KBB, and NADA (which varied quite a bit), subtracted for the minor body flaws, and added in for recent maintenance items (HID bulbs, EGR port cleaning, water pump/timing belt, spark plugs, plus aforementioned tires and brakes/rotors). We got six grand even.

It wasn't even my car, it was my partner's, but I am still kinda sad to see it go. There's just something about having a car for eight years (she was second owner, at 7k miles). Plus, there is a lot of my actual DNA (blood, sweat, and yes, even a few tears) on that car. When you work on your (your spouse's) car, you get attached to it, huh?
