Softest Ride

Right now I have the NEX coilovers and they are just way too stiff. Any suggestions on what would give me the smoothest ride? Prokit with tokico or neuspeed with koni or comptech or whatever. Tein SS maybe? How about the Tanabe coils. Do they ride well? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

from what ive heard the Tein SS coilovers can be adjusted to a soft as stock setting, if thats what you are going for. keep in mind though that they are pricey. If you dont want the adjustability or really need perfornamce struts, you could think about goin with stock struts or adjustable struts and lowering springs such as h&r or comptech. youve got quite afew options, pick which one suits your needs the best goodluck!

Tein SS Coilovers at their softest setting (16) are still more firm than stock ... They're definitely softer than on the middle setting (8) or the lowest setting (0), but its not like the stock ride where you really don't feel much of the road at all. Its still fairly smooth though, and if you like adjusting the ride to your liking you can get the EDFC on the TLs which allows you to control the dampening rate from a box inside your car (Note: you cannot adjust the ride height with the EDFC, only the dampening rate).

If you're looking for the smoothest ride, I'd recommend going back to the stock OEM shocks/springs.

Ummm, stock would be the softest :-)

Any time you lose suspension travel you are bound to get some stiffness.

That being said, my comptech springs with tokico illumina on the softest setting are pretty easy on the butt. if you have 18 or 19 inch wheels that will also contribute to harshness so you may want to get a taller profile 18 or go back to 17

looks are nice but u have to live with the car every day
