after reading about someone asking about the soft chirp that our cars have i decided to just go ahead and do what i was planning for a while.
its not really a how to but if you have installed your own alarm and know what i have done, you shouldn't need one. pictures might help anyways.
after installing my aftermarket alarm a few years back, i was cool with losing the factory chirp. but i also lost my memory seating and progressive lock, which neither one will be easy to integrate into for it to be worth it. so i just hardwired my factory key fab to my aftermarket alarm
very easy if you know how to solder.
so now i have all the features with my 791xv but now with the addition of the factory chirp and memory seating and progressive lock just as if i were using the factory key fab.
pictures suck i know.
when you crack open the factory key fab, youll see where the buttons are pressed to make the connection to send the signal to the car. if you look closely you ll see the two contacts you need to solder your wires too.
run theses wires to two relay or a 451m like i had, laying around so that when you press lock from the 791 this completes the circuit and "presses" the button on the factory fab.

if anyone is serious i can try to make a more detailed DIY but if you have any questions let me know.

thanks
when ever i get some time im gonna configure a power converter to step down the power to give the fab power so i don't have to worry about the battery

^ yep 5900 = 791 with "mile" range
only thing with r/s is your gonna need to either diode isolate the locks or just hook up lock
after the car is running the factory fab becomes dormant
