So- you wanna race?

This is your engine-

This is your engine over red line -

These were from a Type R that over revved- forgot to shift?

BTW- this is the 3rd engine for this car- can you say "Driving School" ?

man that is some crazy $hit!!! some people just use and abuse their ride... i mean its fun, but it sucks when you have to replace an engine because of misabuse... i over rev my engine between 2nd and 3rd some times but i rarely ever hit tha rev limiter... i do have type S guages so I dont feel to bad of shifting too late... i dont know if this messes it up, i know i dont race 24-7 either...Shyne

That silver mess is the remains of the 2 valves that broke off and fell into the cylinder at high rpm- metal mush!

The customer (who shall remain nameless) is not the yellow Type R.This will be the second time in less than six months that I have had to dismantle this particular car.I honestly believe that if I had kids this car would finance a good portion of a college education.Jens

This guy did more than bump the rev limiter. You won't do that to the TL-S or CL-S at 7,000 or even 7,500. You need to be well past that.

This is from a guy that would push his V8s past redline all the time and never had a problem. Blew a tranny, driveshaft and rearend once, but never an engine.
