diff between the AEM CAI and the short ram intake? better performance out of the CAI? both will fit properly for a TL-P even though they are of different lengths right? and the diff between the polished vs the silver/red/blue? sorry i'm a total newbie.

 

CAI extended all the way into the back of the bumper... in another word, air is sucking in from behind the bumper, closer to the ground(hot air goes up, cold air stays low.... colder air = better performance).... Short RAM usually is just a replacement for air intake box.... the black box is replaced by a cone air filter.....
