I was driving today and noticed that my D5 light would dim and then come back to normal brightness when I pressed on the brake. It would dim when I was accelerating then back to normal brightness when the brakes were applied. I would not describe it as a blinking because there was not pattern to the diming. No check engine light came on either so I did not think it would be signs of the tranny taking a dump. Any ideas?

Thanks for that link. When I read about people having problems with there tranny, I had always imagined a blinking of the D5. I guess you could call it a blinking but its more of a diming. Guess I will just wait and find out.
