So I think I've figured out a way to get our transmissions to slip

Don't shoot me for this, just an idea.

IF some of us have a transmission that slips periodically (original transmission), and are nearing the end of their 7yr/100K ext. warranty, and are unable to reproduce the symptoms to the dealer, I think I've figured out a way to get the transmission to slip consistently.

Not sure if this will work, but Lubegard "Black" High Friction Modifier supplement is added to DexronVI to convert it for use in highly friction modified apps such as ATF+4, Honda Z-1, Toyota T-IV, etc. When added to DexVI at 1oz/qt dosage, it will allow the fluid to work well in Honda Z-1 apps. If you add the additive to Honda Z-1 fluid, which already contains enough friction modifiers, it would cause the transmission to slip, since the fluid would be "too slick." If one added TWO bottles (20oz), which is about 3oz/quart to their Honda ATF-Z1, wouldn't it cause severe transmission slippage?

why would you want your tranny to slip....

to get a new tranny is a headache in its self, and they are more prone to problems then an original tranny.
