Post Snowing here in NJ - How will my TL do?

Once again it is snowing here in NJ and I have little comfort in my TCS if and when I have to go into work tomorrow. I wish I had AWD or 4 wheel drive. But don't want that big SUV that I will hardly take off road when it is not snowing.

I am thinking that those half truck / half car vehicles, like the Lexus RX300 or Toyota Highlander, BMW X5, will eventually be the way to go with 4 wheel drive and that rugged look to it, while still maintaining a ride of a car with some performance.

Well still snowing outside, so enjoy it!

Well apparently its state of emergency here. I guess our new governor is trying to flex his muscle. Looks like all your TL has to do tomorrow is stay parked

When it snows, my TL actually acts like a snow plow on my street.

My TL does pretty good in the snow.
But of course don't drive too fast. Remember, no car or SUV is ever snow-proof. It all depends on the driver.

Snow? I don't see any snow. What are you talking about?

Just be careful, my TL has done fine. The TCS may go in to overtime but, it'll help keep you straight at low speeds.

I haven't seen this much snow this winter, since the old days when I was praying for a snow day from school and shoveling my neighbors driveways for $20.

You are all right about just driving slowly or parking it. But it sure is fun thinking your god on the snowy highways with my wife's 4WD Toyota 4runner Limited (although all SUV owners drive crazy, since they have a tendency to think they are invincible).

Hell I shouldn't be driving in the snow anyways ;-)

Thumbs up

OUR TL'S ARE TANKS I DROVE ALL AROUND TWO WEEKS AGO WHEN WE GOT THE 22" IF YOU HAVE TO GO TO WORK YOU WILL BE FINE. IT DOESN'T EVEN HAVE TO DO WITH THE TCS, IT IS BECAUSE THEY ARE SO HEAVY THEY TRUCK THROUGH. ISN'T IT GREAT NOT ONLY DO THEY LOOK PHAT BUT THEY ARE FUNCTIONAL ALL YEAR LONG. I COULDN'T SAY THAT FOR MY CIVIC.
