Question Snow Tires

It may be a little early but now that it's Sept. I've got to start thinking snow tires here in central N.Y. Well I checked my tire source for the last 5 years (TIRERACK) and they list no available snow tires for the Type S !! Anyone have any luck yet ? I really don't want to change the tire size either if it will screw up or harm the VSA as the owners manual states.

What are snow tires???

Just kidding, ViperDave. A California boy, I spent three weeks in Buffalo and Wilson New York in January about 23 years ago. Just long enough to wreck a rented Mercury. I still have the broken hood ornament.

If you can 215/50/17 in snowies, go for it...otherwise get some 16's and put on 205/60/16. It won't affect VSA because the 205/60/16 have the same diameter and rev/mile as the 215/50/17.

99 to 2002 TL-P 16 in. aluminum wheels
2000 to 2001 Honda Accord Coupe 16 in. aluminum wheels

These have the correct offset...+55

I'm not sure if 16 in. steel rims are available.
