any lowering springs are going to be stiffer than stock...but I have Comptechs and I like the ride alot. I paid $100 for instalation, I think that is the low end.

If you change your springs make sure you replace your shocks as well, get a camber kit too. I would probably just go for a coilover kit that comes with everything and whole new pillowmounts.

Comptech is a very nice ride. Its a bit bumpy but you get used to it. Handling is 10 times better.

you dont have to get new shocks or a camber kit with most shocks. If you lower it more than 1.75 inches then a rear camber kit may help, but even if you do - a camber kit isnt a must. Your tires may wear a little off thats all.

obviously new springs will shorten your shocks life, but wont hurt anything, especially if you dont have lots of money to drop at one time

FYI when I got my Comptech springs installed I naturally got an alignment. I don't have a scanner with me, but the sheet shows that all 4 wheels were still within spec.

Perhpas you'll need it if you get the H&R sports...but with Comptech's, I can verify that a camber kit is not needed (full tank of gas...no system in trunk).

Look for lowering springs with the same or similar dampning rate as the stock shocks. That would mean find out the stock dampning rate and compare to the aftermarket.

Comptechs by far, because the rear springs keep the back slightly higher than the front, so with a system, everything is very even. Ive seen cars with HR's and systems and the back sags..ghetto if you ask me.
