Driving home tonight, me an RSX-S (02-04) G35X (03-05) decdied to get on it. 3 lanes 3 honks and I came out on top unexpectadly. I thought the RSX would have pulled top end. He had I/H/E and a reflash. His g/f said Damn i didn't know TL's were that fast. I said I guess so all I have is CAI. The G35 gave up. lol The RSX and I went again from a dead stop and I came out ahead 2 car lengths in my TL-S.
3rd gear is an animal in these cars. I sport shifted.

 

haha nice job man! i wouldnt have thought you'd make it against the rsx either. hmm wonder how my 99 tl-p would handle a rsx(p?). im still debating on if its worth buying the icebox or not

 

Get the icebox. Every little bit helps. It's a cheap mod for the performance gain.

The RSX guy and his g/f were very cool about it. Although he was prob a lil embarrased. lol

 

I beat RSX with that same up. I also I/H/E an I'm 99 TL-P. I only won by 1 car length 3x. It's mainly the take off that my a different vs RSX

This is very true. I have a TL-P and 3rd gear is awesome in this car. Sport shift is a beautiful thing. If I only had the Type S.....

 

I got smoked by a S2000 tonight... :*( Sounded like he had exhaust, headers and an intake. I just have headers and a SRI. But I felt embarrased afterwards.
