smoked a Z this morning...

Just kidding. Saw one this morning for the first time on the street and it looked pretty sweet. From a distance I thought it could be an Audi TT but as I got closer I knew. I must admit I like the exterior and the silver looked hot.

We were in traffic so neither of us was really moving. I had an opening and quickly blew by him at 20mph! I was defintely pulling on him!

what color was it? did it have 18's?

What kind of driver driver (age, sex)? Hey man, some people here say they hang with S4's, so you can hang with a Z too if that is the case.

Ha-ha, maybe if its an auto! It was a guy in his twenties or early thirties with a passenger I believe. The car was silver and looked pretty good. Not sure about the wheels though. HIDs looked nice as well.

haha....sounds like it was the base car

and he probably paid way over MSRP for the thing. I need to see this car in person, but I think I'd much rather have the EVO when it comes out then the Z.

which Z are you talking about..the 90-96 model or what? I'm confused here..oh well, I took a 94' 300Z auto, N/A, but that was a good race...kinda...that guy didn't know how to drive for shiznit. Oh well, I would have gotten owned my friend's 93' 300Z twin turbo, though. His shiet is fast, he changed out the stock turbos, and did all sorts of shiznit to his car...completely out my league when I think about racing him...hahahah

You will take a 90-96 N/A Z anyways whether its manual or auto. The manual were only 0-60 in 7.1 secs auto 8. They were heavy dogs, now the TT is another story.

every magazine has different numbers

the best I've seen is 13.8@95 IIRC not to bad. I've seen as high as 14/5 as well. Still it's a nice performance car. It's supposed to handle well and have a ncie 6 speed. THe downside for me is the interior. It looks liek the G35 and it just doesn't do it for me.

EVO IIV

stock 1/4 mile is 13 flat....granted the US spec car proabbly won't be 280 hp and 280 ft lb tq, it will be a moddable fun little car. And has that cool electronics center diff with different settings.

I've read 250 in one magazine

and 270 in another......eitheway, boost controller or chip will take the stock engine/turbo to about 300 easily. That is car is sweet, but that big ass spoiler has to go.

well, I have a 2000 TL-P with Comptech headers/exhaust, AEM pulleys and cold air intake plus a 3 stage Venom 2000 nitrous kit running 75 shot. And I also have a 1990 300ZX N/A 5 speed with Unorthodox pulleys, Injen hardpipe, TT injector, ACT2600 clutch, full custom exhaust, ECU programmed for the nitrous and a 3 stage NX niroust kit running 100 shot nitrous... I can tell you right now, the TL's a bit faster than the 300ZX that I have off the bottle, I was driving the TL and had the previous owner of the Z drive my Z, and I went to a drag strip and raced him, he got a 15.1 and I got a 14.9 (both street tires), but on the bottle, the TL and the Z ran the same, even though the TL has a slight higher trap speed. (13.6 at 104MPH VS the Z's 13.6 at 102MPH). Anyways, a heavily modded N/A Z manual should keep up with a TL-S pretty good. but if it's a stock auto... don't even worry about it.
