I was hitting the LIE at 2 in the morning this saturday night. I was on my way back home, but all of a sudden this Pathfinder had his HIGHbeam at me, so I was like wtf? I broke a lil, so he signaled left and cut me! I was like a$$h0Le. I ignored him, but as I went on, I signaled left, and I stayed there. It seemed that the left lane was going faster. As I went on, I passed the pathfinder, and he Cut behind me. He Flickered the HIGHBEAM at me again. I was pissed off. So, I cut back to the right lane. Then he came up to left side of me, and started to yell at me. I couldn't hear a word he said, because he was mummling. That and I was blasting my Music =). So I accelerated, but then he Accelerated too. I was like Hell no. I pushed my baby up to 5k RpM. He was hitting that speed too. Around 75MPH. I was like you know what its on. The second I adjusted my seat >=) a Benz E420 Flew by me. I was like its on. The pathfinder accelerated even more. Hitting around 90 MPH. I was like freak this. I pressed the petal almost to flooring. And I killed the pathfinder in a split of a second, and then as I got up to the E420, he accelerated even more. I was like nice...so I too acclerated my baby too. I killed him going around 105MPH. =) He had a surprise face, that a 3.2TL can beat a 4.2 Litre. Haha. I was like yea!

whats the horspower adn the tourque and weight on the 420's??? can we take them or are they a challenge??

 

A 420 is going to take you every time. The Merc driver in this case must have had a sudden attack of common sense.

umm .... I have a feeling you could have taken the Pathfinder a bit easier had to taken off VSA and slipped your baby into SS mode ................... downshift and really smoke the MF. I agree with Shimbo519 though .... LIE is full of potholes I would take it easy!!

 

There is no way TL-S can beat 8-cylinder Benz above 100 mph. The guy just did not want to go above 100.

as for the benz, nice kill, but how did you do 100mph on that road and not blow out all four tires?? damn, i get scared doing 60 over there...

Close race between the Benz E420 and TL-S through the 1/4 mile but by looking at the trap speed the TL-S would lose on the freeway.

 

i ran a 14.7 @ 95.5 with just cai.......and i raced my friends e430 and beat him by 2/3 car length to 80

but when we got on the highway....it was all on whoever down shifted first cause accelerating at the same time no one was pulling away

 

i think its possible to beat teh E420.....the other day i took a SL500 off like line....i needed to pass him after a toll since we were merging and we both stepped on it...after i past him i slowed down thinking he would just leave me alone but he came back at me near the end of the merge and we almost touched....i let him go since he would have killed me high end..but some of those benz drivers have big egos.
