Smell ofantifreeze in car after tranny swap
I had the transmission replaced about 200 miles ago. Now I smell antifreeze in the car. No fluid leak under the car that I can see yet.
Is it possible that the antifreeze smell is related to the work done while the dealer replaced the tranny or is it coincidence?
Antifreeze in car = loose/bad hose or heater core, right?
Thanks

I'm the owner who had the car with the missing gas and body damage after the last visit.

I'm looking for a new dealership now.

i had similar problem. i doubt its antifreeze leak. after driving for a while see, open up the hood and check if there's smoke coming out from back of the engine block (you'll see the transmission block and there should be smoke coming from there). if there is, look underneath the car, you might see red fluid leaking. thats your tranny fluid and the guys at the dealer did it wrong. same thing happened to me and i went to them complained but all they did was fill up my tranny fluid tank so im just going to go see a different dealer. good luck with yours
