I purchased a 2002TL back in July 01, I notice a bad musty smell in the car every time I get into it. I keep the interior very clean, Is the smell coming from the air filter behind the glove compartment. How could this be the car is approx 1 yr old. Plus how often do you need to change air filters

 

try takin a shower....jkjk....maybe u need a new air filter?....or ac filter?

 

Does anyone know how to change the passenger a/c filter?

you might have mildew growing on your condensor.

that requires a chemical spray that will kill the bacteria and evaporate.

the dealer will charge 60-100 for it.

you can do it yourself, all you have to do is go buy a can of the disinfectant, which i believe is similar to lysol.
