Small cracks in rotor

Has anyone else had this issue? Is it something I should be concerned about? They look like hairline vertical cracks all around both front rotors. Not sure if they go all they way through. The rotors are ebc's. I have had them on the car for 3 years, so for about 40k miles.

Sorry for the crappy pic:

thats a common problem with cross-drilled rotors.

ebc dimpled and slotted rotors? heat cracks. ur too hard on the rotors, either upgrade the rotors or ease down with the brakes. ull be fine for the time being, but their gonna start to warp, if their not already

I feel that I am not harder than normal on them. Maybe a few hard stops. But its not like I track the car or anything. How long do you usually keep your rotors for?

I had mt rotors on my car for about 10months now. I should have replaced them 5months ago when I started to see crackes from the drilled holes but so far their holding up.

What kind of pads r u using. They might be too agressive for the rotor

EBC green stuff pads. This is my second set on this rotor.

Might have been time to replace the rotors. U can keep driving it, its only heat/stress marks, not really cracks. More like fractures

Cool, when these pads get low enough, I will go ahead and replace both pads and rotors. I think I want to go back to a good set of blank rotors. Slotted rotors eat through pads and are a bit noisy. I don't track my car, so I probably don't need slots.

I disagree with that- I would replace them at any sign of cracking. A fracture is a crack.

You can only see surface cracks, but won't be able to detect internal cracks unless you've X-ray eyes.

Replace them ASAP on the safe side.
