i used to have the trailer hitch mount for skis/snowboards. thats what i would recomend too if you bike (the trailer hitch, trailer hitch style) that way you dont have to lean over the car and possibly scratch it

I saw a SSM 03 TLS with ski racks flash by me on 71st in Indy the other day. Looked very out of place and very un-aerodynamic. My first thought was 'no way'.

Of course, the same day I saw a ~95 Prelude dragging a trailer down I-65, so i'm not sure if I dreamed the whole episode...

rack

I'm looking into getting one next season as well. I was looking at the yakima with q towers. couldnt come up with the $$ this year though so I just threw my equipment into a board bag and tossed it into the back seat.

I've been looking into the HiddenHitch. Apparantly there's no drilling and it's installed using existing holes/bolts. I plan to use it for skis and bikes. Probably go with Thule or Yakima racks.

fsttyms1, out of curiosity, why did you remove it ? Were there problems ?

I think roof racks are ugly too. Hitch type is probably what I'll get. But, I can't find hidden hitch, can somebody post me a link please? Also, how easy is it to install the hitch? Is it really "hidden"?
As for the hitch rack, what brand is better?

This is a link someone here posted a while back. I don't think it's fully "hidden". You can probably see it if you look for it.
