simple question

i apologize if this is a stupid question, but how do you remove the circular black plastic clips that attach the carpeted panel on the inside of the trunk lid to the trunk lid? i dont know what they are called, but they are also used on the rear deck and probably on other places of the car.

There is a Y shaped clip tool you can purchase at most auto parts stores for a few dollars. Other wise grab hold of them and pull.
