Silverstar fogs any good?
Sylvania Silverstars 9006ST:
SilverStar High Performance Halogen
The Whitest, Brightest Light
SilverStar halogen products are the newest products in the SYLVANIA High Performance Line. They are both the whitest and the brightest lights available. SilverStar is whiter light, closer to the color of daylight. Whiter light helps you see better at night and if your night vision is better, night driving is safer.
All of the Silverstar's products seem to be ~4000K, thats close enough to match our OEM HIDs right? Its definitely gonna be brighter than stock OEM 02-03 TL fogs right?
Has anyone tried these? Comments? Testimonials?

my friend has a set of bulbs in his fogs on his mustang. i think he has gone through 3 sets cause they keep burning out.
now i don't know if its the bulbs fault or the eay they are wired.
he also has them in his head lights and i think his stock bulbs were better for seeing the road. when we drive in the rain or something it seems like i can't see shit.
maybe its just me? give them a shot and if you don't like em return them to wal mart or something.

02 TLS SSM - Hi Oh Silvr!
I like them
Last Christmas, I bought 3 sets- for a Cadillac, Grand Marquis, and Santa Fe as gifts. Bought them at PEP BOYS on sale for $20/set. Everyone said that they were a huge improvement over stock halogens. No burnout or installation problems, I installed them.
I didn't know that they make bulbs for fog lights also. I imagine that they would closer match the Xenon bulbs. I like the stock fogs. IN SO CAL when the fog rolls in it is white. The halogen tint adds contrast and helps my visibility.
Good Luck!

if you went that route you would have to replace the lenses to make that fit.
you might as well just get the hid fog kit and have great light out put then messing with leds just for look.
with my hid fogs, they put out more light then my headlights do. and i have the metal peice out and i can nearly see 180 degrees in front of my car which is awesome for deer and stuff.
