Signs of Transmition failure??! help

Question Signs of Transmition failure??! help

I have 2001 TL
and I have now 61000 miles on it
but lately my transmition feels kinda funny
what i mean is that
everytime when i try to start the car and put it into R or D to go, it won't move !! it just get stuck at P .. so i have to press and hold the shiftlock release button (which is located right next to it) to get into D..
This happend just only couple times like 3 month or so .. but lately
i am having this problem at least once a day or even more ..
is the the sign of my transmition gonna die on me soon??
will replacing transmition fluid help?? whats going on ~! please help..
and one more thing.. does warranty ends at 60k or 70??
man.. i really hope my transmition die on me..

Is it reproduceable on COMMAND? If so, that's enough to take it to the dealer. You should NEVER have to press the shiftlock realease button.

Take it to the dealer, warrantee to 100,000 miles is in effect!

Transmission has its own warranty for 7 years or 100,000 miles.
