Side skirts, regular and oem kit help please

Anyone got some suggestions of getting of the regular side skirt off and getting of the oem body kit skirt off?

Taking a friend's body kit of his car and putting on mine. Those sides are a *****. Taking a small break, just finished the front and rear. hope to get the sides done today as well.

Anyone good shops near downtown brooklyn or around the area... lower manhattan, just over the holland... that anyone knows ?? open today??

You know, I saw something on this site that described how to do this...it was either in the DiY section, which is down, or it was a thread, which I'd search for but that's down too

im assuming your trying to put on the oem body kit if so i just did it yesterday theres a guide in the diy section thats off-line right now, need to take the plastic screws out from underneath should be 4 or 5 cant remember and then take out the screws in the front wheel well that are holding the skirt. then get a pry bar or something and put it between your side skirt and your back wheel and "slide" skirt forward and it will pop off, be warned it takes quite a bit of force

I got the instructions and all before this site went into half working mode. I wanted to do a search for some pointers. It says "slide".... SLIDE my ass lol it is basically rip that **** off with all ur strength. After pulling straight forward and using the rear wheel as leverage it came off.

I basically transferred a kit of a a friend's car to mine, swaping side skirts.

So i am happy now, i just gotta finish a few bolts for the rear wash the damn car. The parts he gave me were so damn dirty lol

take a piece of wood and put it against the end of the side skirt in the fender part.. then use a hammer and hit the wood while the the other person pulls the skirt toward the front of the car.

itll work.. iv done it 3 times n worked every time

good luck.
