Unhappy Side Panels morphing :) .. HELPPP !!!

Hi all

I take pretty good care of my 2000TL as you can see in the pic. Been taking care of her 5 years ... Florida sun is a killer..

But over time I am seeing this weird morph on the side panels by the windows on both side. I asked the dealer and his reccomendation was to get it replaced but he gave me a high quote... few hundreds I dont remember the exact amount. I tried to take a pic hopefully so you guys can see it, and maybe you all can help me and suggest me some way to fix it.

I agree you cant see it unless u look at it real close, but it would be nice if I could get rid of it .

Thanks guys

yup, it's a known problem.

search under fadeing/warped b-pillar. there are a bunch of threads on this. some have painted black, some have changed it to CF..

I have that same problem but it is over the driverside windshield in the top corner, I haven't really worried about it. Maybe i will get it fixed one of these days.

yup - you can put new ones on, or most just get them sanded and painted at a body shop. Mine are way worse than yours though! I really want to get them fixed, but there are alot of other areas that a few hundred bucks can go to better use at the moment.

Thanks everyone. I will look under fadeing/warped b-pillar section of the forums. I hope its not a big hassle and/or expensive to replace to CF..
