For side markers I'd have to go with our local TL resident "Calvin Pham" on this one. He used a BMW (5-7 series) side marker and had it done for less than $40.

How are the side markers installed? I assume drilling holes in the side of the car... but are there any issues with rust? Is it hard to do yourself or did all of you take it to a body shop or something? They do look nice!

THAT looks GREAT! any closer pics of it?

when you say he paid $40, did that mean the cost of the install, or the cost of the sidelights?

One thing about the wiring...do they only blink with the turn signals, or do they stay on all the time the parking lights are on?

After you drill the hole put touch-up paint that you can buy from the dealer for $4.00 on any metal you see. The whole thing takes about 15 min each. You can have them blink with the blinkers, stay on with the parking lights or like I stay on with parking lights and blink with turn signals.
