side airbag off

Does anyone know what this is for? Mine turned on today and was wondering if anyone has had it happen? I already have an appointment with Aruca for some other issues so I guess this one adds to my list. Ohhh ya and I didn't have anyone next to me and I was sitting in my seat correctly

if no one was in the passenger seat (no bags either) and you were sitting correctly, then i would bring it up and just ask them to look at it.

happens to me all the time with no passenger. also sometimes due to leaving something on the passenger seat. it turns off without the proper weight as a safety precaution

it happened to me before, there was nobody on the passenger seat and i had nothing on top of it. I took it to accura and they reset it something (forgot) it has not happen since. charged me $45 can
The "air bag off" light activates if someone in the passenger side is leaning to one side, i guess it could be activated if the seat belt is not retracted properly.
take it to acura see what they say

Yes it will come on if they are leaning over to one side. It is to prevent them from being blown in the head by the side airbag....
