Took second in the Acura class. They had soooo many categories... CRX amatuer, CRX novice, Accord, Toyota, Mitsubishi, etc that there wasn't enough trophies for everyone.

Apparently a 94 Integra took first in the Acura division... not sure which car it was, anyone who was there care to enlighten me on what the deal is with the Integra?

I wasn't around when they judged my car so I couldn't point out things like sways, V-AFC install, super crystal lugs, JDM tails, etc.

When I got there I had just filled up my tank of gas. They told me I had to have 1/4 tank to get in - regulation. I had to go to an auto shop, put her on a lift, disconnect the filler tube, and siphon 10 gallons. Pain in the ass!

Anyway, was pretty fun showing off the ride and seeing what other people are doing. Though I did come to win...

My car was so fresh and so clean (clean). Spent about 6 hours cleaning, washing and waxing yesterday and a few more hours at the show getting it spotless.

Check out pics from the show:

Thanks guys (even though I lost).

Yes, lots of Acuras.

I was either walking around looking at other cars or it was when I went to go get something to eat. I couldn't possibly stand next to my car for the whole 9 hours I was at the show.

I went to HOT IMPORT NIGHTS in LONG BEACH about a week ago. There was this silver TL with an ACCORD BLACK WIDOW BODY KIT MOLDED ON!!! ANYONE ELSE SEE IT? It was a pretty nice job and the car looked "alright". The only thing I didnt agree with was this guy's SHOPPING CART WING (wasn't even painted; aluminum) THE THING WAS TALLER THAN ME!

Thumbs up

I think you did great coming in second. I say this cuz I have to assume there were a shit load of awesome looking cars. Though you didn't win, I assume your ride is tight as a mofo!! Anyway, who knows maybe next time you'll come out on top.

Anyway, congrats man!
