short air ram, or normal intake
this guy on another forum, in my city, is sellin his AEM short air ram intake. is it better than the normal long intake or no? pros/cons? in lightenin me please folks...

SRI will be louder and throttle response is theoretically better. And since it doesn't extend far below, you don't have to worry about sucking up water and hydrolocking your engine.
But it will not be able to deliver cooler air from below; instead, it will suck in the hot air circulating through the engine bay. Basically, all things considered, you're getting it for the sound.
