hi i just got GC coilovers and i know im going to have to get shocks pretty soon. on the package it says to use koni but could i use any other brands? konis are very expensive and im just looking for an alternative. thanx

No, you don't have to use Koni. Are you looking for adjustable? Koni non adjustables aren't very expensive, but when you get into the yellows they get pretty pricey. I have the tokico illuminas , paid about $440 shipped for the, couldn't be happier. Of course I would rather have Koni, but not for the price!
