Shimmy at 50mph+ after getting a flat please help!
I got a brand new set of General Exclaims for my 03TL-S on stock rims, When I was getting them installed I asked the guy to change all the valves. He refused saying that my old ones were perfectly fine and look new.
Sure enough 2 weeks later my front passenger tires runs out of air while im doing 60 on the freeway. Luckily I was on the right lane and got to stop the car immediately. So I take out the crappy OEM jack to try to get the spare on.
The OEM jack could not withstand the 18 wheelers passing by me at 60mph and once I got the car up got the tire off, the car just fell to the ground when a truck passed. The Disc fell right into the concrete
. I tried to get it back up to get the spare on fast, but the same thing happened again as soon as a truck passed the jack would give give away. Luckily I called a friend who had a 2T jack, he came got it up we put the spare on and I drove straight to the garage.
At the garage they said it was a spliced open valve that caused the flat they changed the valve RE-Balanced all wheels and set the correct PSI at all 4 tires at 35psi.
Now at 50mph+ I have a steering wheel shimmy that's pretty intense it gets harsher as I go faster, But it is NOT felt before 50mph. I hear no abnormal noises or anything of that sort just a bad shimmy. The shimmy is there when NOT braking and WHEN braking. It's constant. There is NO pull into a specific direction, Alignment is OK What the hell did I screw up??
I checked the rotor and it looks like when it fell it took some rust off the top but nothing major or damaging. Im scared to drive on the highway now because the shimmy is pretty bad, What should I look at first??
I never had the shimmy before the flat, my braked are 2 months old and all 4 corners so are the tires Could it be a tie rod, ball joint?? I was thinking the rotor may have became loose when it fell 2 times. Where should I start inspecting?

ck the ball joints and related low hanging steering parts
your experience points out a need for others to carry a small piece of plywood to put under the jack- for stabilty on loose ground
psi on general exclaims should be about 40-42, not 35
take the actual car weight and the tire max loading at max cold of 50-works out to ~80% of allowed weight, subtract that psi from max 50, 20%=10psi = 40, then play with it till tire temp is even all the way across the surface- measured at 3 points with temp gun

I have a feeling it could be my disc, since it was dropped on the ground twice with the weight of the car. The disc has some scuffs where the disc hit the concrete is this logical into my steering wheel shake??
