The speed listings for each gear is in the owner's manual.
When you want to run hard, obviously it's better to take each gear to redline. You should actually shift a tick before redline b/c there is a .5 second delay between you shifting, and the actual shift occuring. If you wait too long you'll hit the fuel cutoff. As for the pedal thing... the car is an automatic, even if you're using SS, so there's never a need to lift off the gas unless you're braking.....

Go out today, go about 30. You'd probably be sitting in 4th, do a double downshift while punching it. You will see the difference.
