i did a search on these, and most of the threads date years back. i have an 00 TL that had my rear view mirror leak acid crap and ruined my old shift plate. i ended up grabbing one from a 4spd (didn't know that at the time) and i always wondered why i couldn't put it into 1st or 2nd. anyone have any idea where i can get the 5spd shift plate? used or new. i'll sell off this chrome plate.

how bad i the damage mine had marks on it i just sanded it with a real fine paper and repainted it and it came out good

 

it made indentations. i can't believe stuff like this would come out of the mirror. the plate was a total mess
