Hi all,
i just have a dumb question that someone else may have asked before. I am just wondering if anyone knows how to unscrew the shift knob. I want to replace it with a momo one. Does anybody know if it will fit? does the metal bar size universal??

if it's like my 20002 tl-s...twist counterclockwise to remove. the stem is actually smaller than that of manual cars, so you will need to buy knobs that come with either special sprotshift fitments or come with universal hard plastic liners. i believe the stem is 10mm while manuals are 12mm. i have a razo knob which uses the universal liners.

Thank all for answering my Q. However I still have problem of unscrew the knob. It seems like the knob has twist my wrist instead of me twisting it. Are you sure there is no hidden tricks or lock. What's the silver ring that attached at the buttom of the shift knob?
Sincerely,
Sean Tang

yup...it's a B! instead of twisting with your wrist, grab a hold of the knob and swing your arm for leverage. i put this trick into good use when i was twisting on my new razo knob since you had to make your own threads. the chromed collar will come off with the knob.
