Shaking O No !

So...this morning I drove to work and everything was fine accept for getting out of my drive way since it was all ice/snow. When I came to work I of course had to do some donuts in the parking lot, aside from the donuts I did nothing else. Later in the afternoon when it was time to go home I pulled the car out and began the usual drive home when I reached 40 mph the car began to shake. I thought maybe there was some snow/ice on the tire or inside the rim but when I stopped the car there was nothing. I than drove again and still the car was shaking. Any idea why or what this could be..Thanks...I know usually this means the allignment or the balance of the tires...but they were all fine this morning..thanks

If the donuts were on ice/snow then it shouldn't of damaged anything..

maybe someone with more experience can chime in.

Are you sure there was no packed ice/snow impeding the wheels at all? When I got home today, it was really packed in and almost rubbing against the front left tire. It was very hard packed frozen slush and took a while to chop it out of there ...

I would say there is a piece of ice or snow some where that you missed? Unless you hit something or flatspotted a tire?

there might be ice or snow packed in the inside of your rim. it will make the wheel off balance.

Same thing happened to me this morning on the way to my classes, when I was going at high speeds, 50-65, the shaking was insane, so when I got to the college, I check the tires for snow and didn't see any, So when I leave i'll have to check the rims for snow (didn't of that lol, thats why I come here XD)
