service manual

My entire service manual doesn't say anything about the front or rear sway bars. I was looking for torque specs and basic install instructions.

I thought the service manual had everything? Maybe I missed it...

whats not there is in our DIY section

are you replacing the bars with larger or just need end links or center bushings?
most intructions come with torque specs and new bolts

You can test any nut/bolt before removal and determine its current torque.
Set the tool to tighten and lower value than you think its at- keep turning up tool until it tries to move bolt- thats your current setting!

That wouldn't be very accurate to use to retighten would it? If corroded, rusty, overtorqued, etc. a false value would be read-

I meant clean -not rusted bolts---that have not been removed before
you can self calibrate/test a torque wrench or find the current value of a bolt

you can also go by the guide on bolt diamter and torque value
there is one for every size and bolt grade
