service light indicator blinking

Post service light indicator blinking

hey guys,

For the past couple days the service light indicator is blinking for a few more second after my car is start ... what does that mean?

please help ..

Most likely, you are getting close to your regular service interval (according to Acura). When you get close to say 7500 miles, the light blinks when you put your key in, when it's over 7500, the light stays on.

That is correct. As you get closer in mileage to the recommended service interval, the service light starts to blink as a reminder. I am close to 14K miles and it started blinking about 13.5K miles.

If you'd like to ignore it, you can hold down the odometer reset button as you start the car. That will reset the light.

Mind mileage is around 10200 miles and still running smooth ..

I probably reset it myself
