If you have exhausted all attempts at the dealer, including the Service manager including a well writtten letter, then call Honda USA to start the complaint process. You generally get a phone person who can only help you so far. Once this person can no longer help you, and many times they can, ask for their supervisor. I have found that Honda is very service oriented, and try to help you. However, if you are getting jerked around and they give you a stupid response, start whining and sending letters. The squeeky wheel gets the grease in business. Be persistant, and don't take no for an answer. Always use the line that I thought I was buying a reliable product.

I don't know about your town... but the service in 4 dealers that I had been to were FACKED UP!!! I am serious.
For the first 3 month I had the engine check light pop up like 5-6 times...
Can't believe it...
Honda Canada is no help...
but the dealer in London is VERY good. I mean it, best service I ever had... I guess that's why I am still driving my TL... or else I would have get rid of it long long time ago... I just hate the fact that you guys can't deal with an engine check light problem? Let alone all the rattles.
But well well maybe I got a lemon, but I know exactly what I will get next time and when...

why was your check engine light on for? it was probably because you didint tighten the gas cap completely. i work for a acura dealership and thats what over half of the check engine lights are on for. because the customer didnt read their owners manual and tighten the gas cap. but they still ***** about the product and our service. you also have to remember these on board computers are getting more and more high tech. it can catch a pinhole leak in the evap system. so a loose gas cap will trigger the check engine light on very easy.
